Safeguarding Week 15th June to 20th June 2020

Posted by Catherine Law on 16  2020 09:14

During Safeguarding Week, East Riding of Yorkshire Council is reminding the public about the services available to keep themselves, and everybody else, safe.

Each day, advice will be sent out on a theme, telling the community what signs they should be looking out for, and where to turn to if they have concerns about adults or children.

Although face-to-face events cannot be held during this year’s event, messages on social media and the internet are telling the public that safeguarding services are still working round the clock in the East Riding.

The themes for the week are:

Monday: Keeping Safe

Tuesday: Domestic Abuse

Wednesday: Emotional Health and Wellbeing

Thursday: Online Safety

Friday: Exploitation

The East Riding Safeguarding Children's Partnership and East Riding Safeguarding Adults Board have worked together to develop a set of key safeguarding  message for National Safeguarding Week which starts 15th June 2020. There will be press releases, social media and twitter posts each day.
